Dusan Vlahovic’s current contract is set to expire on June 30, but recent discussions with Juventus regarding a potential extension have reportedly faced setbacks.
Initially, hopes for a renewed agreement appeared dim. However, following his return to the pitch after a four-month injury layoff, both parties resumed negotiations.
Vlahovic Contract Negotiations Face Obstacles

While the initial meeting showed promise, subsequent discussions, particularly during the recent international break, revealed considerable obstacles.
The challenges extend beyond Vlahovic’s salary, which would require a substantial reduction from his current €12 million per season, including bonuses.
Additional points of contention include the commission sought by his agent, Darko Ristic, as well as the bonuses associated with signing a contract extension.
Should an agreement not be reached, the Serbian international would become a highly sought-after free agent, with numerous top clubs monitoring the situation closely.
Among the interested parties, AC Milan could potentially keep him in Serie A, offering a reunion with former Juventus coach Max Allegri. European giants Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also reportedly keeping a close eye on developments.
