Fulham is reportedly poised to activate their purchase option for winger Samuel Chukwueze, a move expected to bring a substantial €24 million into AC Milan’s coffers.
Chukwueze initially joined Milan from Villarreal in 2023 for a fee of €21.1 million, potentially rising to €7 million in add-ons. However, his spell at San Siro was largely underwhelming, as he struggled to establish himself and make a consistent impact for the Rossoneri. During his 70 official appearances for Milan, he managed to score just eight goals and register six assists.

The Nigerian international was subsequently loaned to Fulham in September 2024, with the agreement including an option for the Premier League club to make the transfer permanent at the conclusion of the season.
Despite his contribution at Craven Cottage being relatively modest, with three goals and four assists in 19 competitive outings, La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that Fulham has made the decision to acquire Chukwueze on a full-time basis.
This prospective sale could provide a significant financial boost for Milan. While falling slightly short of the initially rumored €30 million, the reported €24 million injection of fresh funds would still be a welcome addition to the club’s finances.
One of the highlights of Chukwueze’s time with Fulham has been his memorable brace scored in a Premier League fixture against Manchester City.
