What Mascherano Said?

Although Inter Miami secured a record points tally winning the Supporters’ Shield in 2024, their primary goal this year is the MLS Cup. Mascherano stated, “Our current focus is competing in our league and accomplishing a long-held ambition for this club. We aim to go as far as possible, reach the play-offs, ideally secure home advantage, and then see what unfolds in late October.”

Did You Know?

July presents a busy schedule for Inter Miami with six matches remaining, including the commencement of the Leagues Cup. Mascherano commented on managing the squad rotation: “We clearly have many upcoming games, in addition to those already played, so everyone will be needed. We’ll need to manage roster adjustments carefully, as I prefer not to make extensive changes (like six or seven players) between matches.”

What Next For Inter Miami?

Looking ahead, Inter Miami hopes Lionel Messi will extend his stay by activating the option for 2026 in his current contract. As his existing deal in South Florida approaches its end, the Argentine star is currently permitted to negotiate with other clubs.
