The 2025 Truist Championship, held this week at The Philadelphia Cricket Club`s Wissahickon Course, is highlighted by the participation of Rory McIlroy. The reigning 2025 Masters champion is looking to secure his fourth victory of the current PGA Tour season.
This event marks the first occasion the PGA Tour has been hosted by the Wissahickon Course. It`s also the tour`s initial return to Philadelphia since the 2018 BMW Championship, which took place at Aronimink Golf Club and was won by Keegan Bradley.
A field of 72 players, including top contenders like McIlroy and Bradley, will compete for a substantial share of the $20 million prize pool. The winner will be awarded $3.6 million along with 700 FedEx Cup points.
