Inter Milan has officially been crowned champions of Italy, culminating a remarkable season with a domestic double. The team celebrated their Serie A triumph by lifting the coveted trophy on the pitch of the San Siro, in front of a jubilant, sold-out Stadio Meazza. This momentous occasion follows a successful campaign that saw them also secure the Coppa Italia.
The Nerazzurri played their final home fixture of the 2025-26 season on Sunday, concluding with a 1-1 draw against Hellas Verona. While this match was largely a formality, with Inter having already clinched the league title and Hellas Verona facing relegation, it provided the perfect backdrop for the championship celebrations.
Cristian Chivu’s squad had previously secured the Coppa Italia, defeating Lazio 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico earlier in the week. The Coppa Italia trophy was presented to the team immediately after that victory.
As Sunday’s game against Hellas Verona marked Inter’s last home match of the season, the club was honored with the Serie A trophy presentation directly on the pitch. The stadium was packed with enthusiastic fans, creating an electric atmosphere for the historic moment.
Inter Milan is now the champion of Italy for the 2025-26 season, having achieved both the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia.
