Inter Milan director Piero Ausilio has reportedly traveled to London for discussions with Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario regarding a potential transfer.
Vicario, an Italy international, is understood to be Inter’s primary target for the upcoming season’s goalkeeping position. Sources indicate that Ausilio’s trip to the English capital is specifically to hold negotiations with the Spurs player.
With Tottenham facing a challenging season and battling for Premier League survival, Vicario is reportedly keen on returning to Serie A. It is confirmed that the Italian international has already signaled his approval for a move to Inter.
As Yann Sommer’s contract with Inter is set to expire at the end of the current season, the Nerazzurri are actively seeking a new goalkeeper. Preliminary discussions with Vicario’s representatives reportedly began several weeks ago.

Reports suggest Tottenham will likely demand a fee between €15 million and €20 million for Vicario. However, if Spurs were to be relegated to the Championship, their asking price for the goalkeeper is expected to decrease significantly.

Throughout his 115 appearances for Tottenham, Vicario has conceded 165 goals. He notably won the Europa League with the Premier League club last season.
