Juventus scouts USMNT and Egypt strikers during the 2026 World Cup

Sport news

Juventus is actively scouting potential attacking reinforcements for the 2026-27 season, with a keen interest in Ricardo Pepi, the USMNT and PSV Eindhoven forward, and Omar Marmoush, who represents Egypt and plays for Manchester City. While the club’s primary targets are Alexander Sorloth of Atletico Madrid and Randal Kolo Muani from PSG, the Bianconeri are also considering these emerging talents as valuable alternatives.

Both Pepi and Marmoush are currently showcasing their abilities on the international stage at the World Cup, representing the United States and Egypt respectively. Juventus is closely observing their performances throughout the tournament. Reports suggest that PSV is open to negotiating a transfer for Pepi, with a potential fee in the range of €25 million to €30 million. Marmoush’s future at Manchester City, however, remains contingent on the assessment of new manager Enzo Maresca.

Juventus has already initiated discussions with Atletico Madrid regarding Sorloth and with PSG concerning Kolo Muani. However, no formal contact has yet been made with PSV or Manchester City regarding Pepi or Marmoush. In parallel, the Turin club is also pursuing an extension of Dusan Vlahovic’s contract, having reportedly submitted a final offer to the Serbian international.
