Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli’s journey to obtaining his driving license presented some unexpected challenges, as recounted by his road test examiner, Engineer Sara Giusti. Giusti revealed that during the initial phase of the road test, Antonelli struggled with operating a manual transmission, particularly the act of downshifting. Additionally, he often neglected to use his turn signal during overtaking maneuvers.
However, Giusti emphasized that Antonelli quickly adapted and mastered these essential driving skills with remarkable proficiency. Demonstrating a keen ability to learn, he overcame his initial difficulties splendidly. As a gesture of appreciation for the experience, Antonelli later revisited the motor vehicle department, bringing a gift for his examiner.
