Scotland`s Nico Carrillo is set to compete against Nabil Anane for the ONE interim bantamweight Muay Thai world championship. This change comes after Superlek Kiatmoo9 sustained an injury.
Carrillo was originally scheduled to fight Superlek, who is considered a top pound-for-pound striker.
However, due to a knee injury to Superlek, Carrillo will now face Thai-Algerian fighter Anane on January 24th. The event, ONE 170, will take place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
The winner of this interim title fight will then proceed to compete against Superlek to unify the world title at ONE 172 in Japan at the end of March.
