In the highly anticipated main event, Jonathan Di Bella achieved his quest for redemption against two-sport sensation P.K. Saenchai, clinching the unified ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Championship via unanimous decision.
Aung La N Sang’s Triumphant Farewell
The co-main event saw legendary two-division ONE World Champion Aung La N Sang bring his illustrious MMA career to a triumphant close. Myanmar`s pioneering World Champion dominated former welterweight king Zebaztian Kadestam in their middleweight MMA showdown.
The 40-year-old icon delivered a relentless performance, overwhelming Kadestam until the referee halted the fight at 2:20 in the second round. This victory, his 31st career win, sent the Lumpinee Stadium crowd into a frenzy, marking a fitting end for one of the promotion`s most cherished fighters. Known as ‘The Burmese Python’, Aung La N Sang is set to be inducted into the ONE Championship Hall of Fame this November during ONE 173 in Tokyo.
Flyweight Muay Thai Division Shakeup
The Flyweight Muay Thai division witnessed a dramatic shakeup. In a surprising upset, fifth-ranked Jaosuayai Sor Dechapan suffered a first-round knockout loss to Akif Guluzada, who landed a devastating knee to the head.
