Riccardo Calafiori’s Defiant ‘We Go Again’ Message After Arsenal’s Man City Loss

Sport news

Italian international Riccardo Calafiori delivered a resolute three-word message, “We go again,” on social media following Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in Sunday’s match.

Arsenal’s loss in the EFL Cup Final meant Calafiori missed the chance to claim his first trophy in England. Meanwhile, his compatriot and Italy captain, Gigio Donnarumma, celebrated lifting his inaugural silverware with Manchester City.

Despite this setback, Calafiori still has multiple opportunities to secure his first piece of silverware with the Gunners. Arsenal remain strong contenders, currently leading the Premier League table and actively competing in both the Champions League and the FA Cup.

His rallying cry, “We go again,” posted on Monday morning, underscored his resilient spirit and commitment.

Calafiori has since joined the Italian national squad at Coverciano, where he is preparing for their crucial World Cup play-off semi-final against Northern Ireland.
