Senegal Slams “Farcical” AFCON Decision, Alleges Order-Driven Ruling

Abdoulaye Seydou Sow, the General Secretary of the Dakar Football Federation, has voiced strong disapproval regarding a recent decision concerning the Africa Cup of Nations. Sow stated that the federation views the ruling as “farcical” and believes it was “taken to execute an order,” implying external influence. He added, “The law is on our side, but we had the impression that the commission was not there to apply it,” underscoring their belief that legal principles were disregarded during the appeal process.
