Tom Aspinall is set to make his initial defense of the undisputed UFC heavyweight championship against Cyril Gane on October 25.
This highly anticipated clash, which marks Aspinall`s return to competitive action after over a year`s absence, will serve as the main event for UFC 321 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
The British fighter, Aspinall (with a record of 15-3), claimed the undisputed heavyweight crown last month following Jon Jones` retirement. He had previously held the interim title while awaiting a showdown with Jones.
Aspinall, 32, last competed in July 2024, securing a victory over Curtis Blaydes that avenged his sole UFC loss. He is expected to be the favorite in his upcoming fight with Gane.

Gane, the French contender, suffered a decisive defeat against Jones in 2023 when they vied for the then-vacant UFC heavyweight title.
