Yunus Musah has voiced his profound gratitude for the steadfast support shown by Atalanta fans, even in the wake of a devastating 6-1 home defeat against Bayern Munich. This significant loss effectively eliminates Atalanta, the sole Serie A representative in the Champions League Round of 16, from the prestigious competition.
Despite the severe scoreline and Bayern’s rapid ascent to a three-goal lead within the opening 25 minutes, the home crowd’s loyalty remained unshakeable. Supporters continued to cheer passionately for their team throughout the match and well after the final whistle.
Musah shared his appreciation, stating, “It’s like this every week. They are very good supporters and fans, always behind the team.”
