Besiktas in Talks for Laurienté, Sassuolo Demands €30 Million

Sport news

Besiktas is reportedly engaged in discussions with Sassuolo concerning the transfer of Armand Laurienté. The player is keen on making the move, however, Sassuolo has set a €30 million price tag on him.

According to multiple Turkish football sources, including Sports Digitale and Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, the striker is actively pushing to join Vincenzo Italiano’s Besiktas squad.

Sassuolo appears open to selling the player this summer. Laurienté has been the subject of transfer speculation in recent years, even being close to a move to Sunderland in 2025.

Despite the player’s desire to leave, Sassuolo’s valuation stands firm at €30 million, a figure Besiktas must meet to secure the 27-year-old attacker.

Laurienté originally transferred to Sassuolo from Lorient in the summer of 2022 for an initial fee of €10.1 million, plus additional clauses that included a 20% share of any future sale. Although he recently extended his contract with Sassuolo until June 2029, an exit has been anticipated.

The versatile forward predominantly operates on the left wing but can also play on the right or as a central striker.

Throughout his Serie A career, Laurienté has contributed 19 goals and provided 21 assists in 103 appearances.
