Massimiliano Allegri has long held admiration for Kean, having previously managed the Italian international at Juventus. Allegri views Kean as the ideal player to bolster Milan’s attack for the 2026/27 season. This sentiment appears to be mutual, as Kean has previously been linked with a move to San Siro. With Fiorentina’s European aspirations likely to falter following their anticipated exit from the Conference League against Crystal Palace, Kean’s departure from Florence is becoming increasingly probable.
Financial Hurdles for Milan’s Kean Pursuit
The primary challenge, as is often the case, is financial. Kean’s release clause is set at €52 million, a sum Milan is hesitant to pay outright, especially after a season where the striker’s market value has not significantly increased.

However, the deal is far from straightforward. Gimenez’s considerable wages and interest from Premier League clubs add further complications to negotiations, which are still in their nascent stages.
