Milan Sets Fofana Price Amid Transfer Interest

Sport news

AC Milan midfielder Youssouf Fofana could be available for transfer this summer, with Lyon, Olympique Marseille, and Galatasaray all expressing interest.

The 27-year-old has been a consistent starter for Max Allegri this season and is anticipated to play in the upcoming Serie A match against Juventus.

However, his contract is set to expire in June 2028, and rumors suggest a sale is possible, particularly if Leon Goretzka is signed as a free agent.

Fofana Targeted by European Clubs

Galatasaray showed significant interest in Fofana during the January transfer window and are expected to make another move at the end of the current season.

According to Calciomercato, they will face strong competition from two French Ligue 1 clubs, as both Olympique Lyonnais and Marseille are closely monitoring his situation.

Fofana joined Milan from AS Monaco in the summer of 2024 for a fee of €26 million. Prior to that, his career was spent entirely in France with Strasbourg and JA Drancy.

Reports indicate that if AC Milan decides to sell, offers in the range of €25-30 million would be considered.
