Igor Tudor Leaves Tottenham Hotspur After Seven-Game Stint, Second Sacking This Season
Igor Tudor, the former Juventus coach, has officially departed from Tottenham Hotspur after a brief tenure of just seven games, marking his dismissal from two clubs within a single season.
His departure was anticipated given Tottenham's poor Premier League form, which included one draw and four defeats. The announcement was postponed for a week to allow Tudor to mourn the sudden passing of his father.
Tottenham's official statement confirmed the separation as "mutually agreed." Goalkeeping coach Tomislav Rogic and Physical Coach Riccardo Ragnacci also left their positions alongside Tudor.
Tudor had only assumed the head coach role on February 14th. During his short spell, he oversaw one victory (a 3-2 win against Atletico Madrid), one draw, and five losses across all competitions.
Prior to his move to Tottenham, Tudor was dismissed by Juventus on October 27th. That decision followed a challenging period for the Italian club, with a record of five draws and three consecutive defeats in all competitions.
The Croatian tactician has a significant history in Italy, both as a player for Juventus and Siena from 1998 to 2007, and later as a coach with experience at clubs such as Udinese, Verona, Lazio, and Juventus.
