Juventus 2-0 Atalanta: Old Lady Revitalised, Dea Suffer Third Defeat

Juventus found the net through Francisco Conceicao and Gleison Bremer, resulting in Maurizio Sarri's Atalanta suffering their third straight loss.

Following a dominant 5-0 Europa League win against NEC, Juventus's Serie A form had faltered, with only one point secured from their previous two league fixtures. The squad faced additional challenges with injuries to Kenan Yildiz, Manuel Locatelli, Khephren Thuram, Jeremie Boga, Andrea Cambiaso, Jeff Ekhator, and Juan Cabal. Jonathan Rowe's penalty appeal for a shirt tug by Pierre Kalulu was dismissed. Pape Matar Sarr was introduced at halftime to strengthen Juventus's midfield.

Nico Gonzalez came close with a glancing header from a corner, narrowly missing the far post. Later, Rowe advanced to fire a low shot past Charles De Ketelaere, which Guglielmo Vicario managed to parry away.

Raoul Bellanova and Giorgio Scalvini made crucial interventions to block Francisco Conceicao's dangerous runs. Carnesecchi then produced a sharp save to deny Weston McKennie's header from a Nico Gonzalez cross.

Atalanta appeared to have equalised in the 63rd minute through Kristensen's header, but Kolo Muani made a vital clearance off the line.

Juventus created two promising openings with Kolo Muani and Nico Gonzalez, but both players lost their footing at critical moments. Sarr's low drive was pushed wide by Carnesecchi.

The lead was extended when Bremer headed home an Edon Zhegrova corner, surprising Giacomo Raspadori at the near post.

Carnesecchi prevented the scoreline from widening further with close-range saves from Kolo Muani and Teun Koopmeiners from the resulting corner.
