Ciro Immobile is expected to leave Paris FC this summer, concluding a disappointing six-month period in the French capital. The celebrated former Lazio striker has managed only two goals since joining the newly promoted Ligue 1 club during the winter transfer window.
According to RMC Sport, despite Immobile’s desire to stay, Paris FC is reportedly planning to move on from the Italian forward as they aim to reconfigure their squad for the upcoming season.
Immobile’s Paris Stint Ends in Disappointment as PFC Aims for Top Ten Finish
The arrival of the ex-Lazio goalscorer had generated significant anticipation due to his standing as Lazio’s all-time leading scorer. However, he ultimately failed to deliver the impact the club had envisioned.
Paris FC, who concluded their inaugural Ligue 1 season with impressive victories over Monaco and PSG under the guidance of new coach Antoine Kombouaré, are now setting their sights on a top-ten finish in the next season. To achieve this ambition, they plan to recruit more consistent attacking players.
Immobile’s future club remains uncertain.
