According to emerging reports, Como is actively engaged in negotiations with Galatasaray concerning the transfer of Colombian international Davinson Sanchez. The asking price for the former Tottenham Hotspur defender is reportedly set at €15 million.
Belgian transfer insider Sacha Tavolieri states that discussions are progressing well, with Sanchez himself showing a willingness to join Serie A and collaborate with coach Cesc Fabregas. This marks the second consecutive year that Como has been associated with the player.
Sanchez Expresses Interest in Como Move
Como’s ascent has been remarkable. Having been in Serie B just over two years ago, the club has now secured a Champions League spot and reached the Coppa Italia semi-finals this season. Davinson Sanchez, who recently celebrated his 30th birthday, is currently under contract with Galatasaray until June 2029.
Sanchez initially moved from his native Colombia to Ajax in 2016, before making a significant €42 million transfer to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2017. By 2023, his transfer fee to Galatasaray had fallen to €9.5 million.
This past season, Sanchez made 45 appearances for the Turkish club, scoring two goals. He is currently representing Colombia in the World Cup.
