Josefine Knutsson (8-1) is preparing for her strawweight bout against Mileide Simplicio (6-3) at OKTAGON 87, scheduled for April 25th. In a recent interview, Knutsson candidly addressed her release from the UFC last year, as well as a subsequent signing with GFL that did not materialize as planned.
“I’m going to control the fight and dictate the pace according to my style,” Knutsson stated. “I intend to keep my feet on the ground and approach every situation with an open mind. My primary objective is to secure a finish through my striking. However, I remain adaptable and will see how the fight unfolds.”
