According to reports on Thursday, Juventus has resumed negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani. The club is actively seeking a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic, who is set to become a free agent in early July.
Carnevali Pursues Kolo Muani’s Return to Juventus
Dusan Vlahovic’s contract with Juventus is due to expire on June 30. As of now, it appears unlikely that the Serbian striker will sign an extension and he is expected to leave on a free transfer unless a last-minute change of heart occurs.
This situation leaves Juventus with limited striking options, including Jonathan David, Lois Openda, and Arkadiusz Milik. Collectively, these forwards managed to score only seven Serie A goals in the 2025-26 season (David with six, Openda with one).
The newly appointed CEO, Giovanni Carnevali, is actively searching for solutions in the attacking department. Thursday’s reports from Gianluca Di Marzio indicate that he has recently reopened discussions regarding a potential return for Randal Kolo Muani.
Kolo Muani made a significant impression during his loan spell with the Bianconeri in the latter half of the 2024-25 campaign. He averaged a goal every other game, netting eight goals in his first 16 appearances in Italy’s top flight.
Reports on Thursday suggest that Carnevali is focused on determining the complete cost of bringing Kolo Muani back to Turin, which includes the transfer fee, wages, and agent commissions.
