Milan Fans Boo Rafael Leao Again After Substitution vs. Juventus

Sport news

AC Milan’s star player, Rafael Leao, faced another round of boos from his own fans on Sunday during a home Serie A fixture against Juventus. The incident occurred when he was substituted off the field.

Leao Receives Boos from Milan Supporters Once More

During the Serie A encounter at San Siro against Juventus, Milan fans directed boos at their prominent striker, Leao. This situation mirrors what happened two weeks prior in their previous home game against Udinese, which ended in a 3-0 defeat for the Rossoneri.

In the current match, Leao was replaced by Christopher Nkunku in the 80th minute. Once again, a significant portion of the Rossoneri faithful showed no leniency towards the Portuguese player, whistling as he departed the pitch from the farther side of the field.

Leao walked the entire perimeter of the field to reach the Rossoneri bench. Upon arrival, coach Massimiliano Allegri offered him a high five and words of encouragement, saying, “Well done.”

Leao has not found the back of the net in Serie A since March 1st. However, he did provide an assist for Adrien Rabiot’s winning goal in the previous week’s match against Hellas Verona. Additionally, in the game against Juventus, he delivered a crucial pass that set up Alexis Saelemaekers, who unfortunately hit the crossbar from an excellent scoring position.

Leao walked the entire length of the pitch to reach the Rossoneri bench, where coach Massimiliano Allegri offered him a high five and told him, “Well done.”

Leao has not scored a Serie A goal since March 1st, but he did provide the assist for Adrien Rabiot’s winning goal against Hellas Verona last week.
