Stephen Dmytryk Eyeing Undefeated Streak and Title Shot at AOW 48

MMA news

The upcoming Art of War Cage Fighting 48 event, scheduled for June 6th at the Valley Forge PA Casino, promises a night of thrilling mixed martial arts action. Among the promising talents on display is Stephen Dmytryk, a 20-year-old fighter with a perfect 2-0 professional record. Nicknamed “Darce Chocolate,” Dmytryk has quickly garnered attention for his confidence and impressive performances in the cage.

Dmytryk, who trains at The Forge MMA, has been honing his skills alongside notable teammates such as Kyle Daukaus and Matt Turnbull. Despite his youth, he exhibits a mature understanding of the sport’s demanding nature. “One of the more difficult things you realize is that you have to get beat up for years before you even start getting decent,” Dmytryk shared. “I’m nowhere near where I want to be. I’m still getting beat up and I’ve been getting beat up for four years but I’m finally getting somewhere where I’m not getting beat up as much.”

His upcoming bout is part of a packed fight card featuring four professional fights and a total of 13 bouts. The main card includes a light heavyweight title defense by Ian “the Hammer” Alston against Chris Renwick, and a bantamweight clash between “B Mo” Ben Moser and Cole Cameron. Additionally, Isaac Kent will make his AOW debut against Tyler Kirkpatrick.

A highly anticipated flyweight matchup on the main card features Christian Carlo (2-0 as a pro, both by finish) against Brandon Bohannon (2-0). Both fighters are considered rising stars with the potential to advance to higher levels of competition.

The undercard also boasts several exciting matchups, including Justus Cheatom vs. Isaiah Herring for the Art of War Cage Fighting 170 lb championship, Chris Molina vs. AJ Bernieri, and Isaac Pantano vs. Sean Casey, which is expected to deliver explosive action. Dmytryk’s fight is set to be a highlight of this undercard, with the fighter expressing his determination to maintain his undefeated streak and position himself for future opportunities, potentially including a title shot.
