Italian football sources indicate that Juventus defender Gleison Bremer might have played his last match for the club. This speculation arises as English Premier League powerhouses Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly considering activating the Brazilian’s release clause.
Bremer’s 2025-26 season with Juventus has definitively concluded. A yellow card received during the team’s 2-0 home defeat to Fiorentina on Sunday means he will be suspended for the final league fixture of the season, the Derby della Mole against local rivals Torino.
However, publications like La Gazzetta dello Sport and TMW are questioning whether the Fiorentina match could have been Bremer’s final appearance for Juventus altogether. The Brazilian has consistently been a standout performer in the Bianconeri’s defense and continues to draw significant interest from the Premier League.
According to TMW, Bremer’s contract includes a release clause valued at €58 million, which becomes active during the first ten days of August. Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester United are said to be leading the race for his signature.
Bremer has been a fixture in Turin for the past eight seasons, initially joining Torino before the 2018-19 campaign. He transferred to Juventus for a reported €41 million plus add-ons before the 2022-23 season. Since then, he has made 121 appearances for Juventus across all competitions, scoring 12 goals, with 11 of those coming in Serie A.
