A historic moment unfolded at GLORY 107 on Saturday, April 25th, at the RTM Stage in Rotterdam. Chico Kwasi (46-6-2, 23 KO) etched his name in the record books by becoming only the second fighter ever to hold simultaneous GLORY world titles in two different weight classes.
The welterweight champion moved up to challenge for the middleweight title and emerged victorious against Donovan Wisse (23-2, 10 KO) in a fiercely contested bout that was ultimately decided in the final round. At 28 years old, Kwasi now joins the elite ranks of Alex Pereira as the only double champions in GLORY’s history.
In the co-main event, Tariq ‘Cookie’ Osaro (31-5-1, 17 KO) made a strong return to the win column with a decisive victory over his rival Nico ‘Big Sexy’ Horta (26-12, 4 KO). Osaro secured the win with a powerful first-round uppercut that sent Horta to the canvas.
The light heavyweight “proving grounds” contests saw multiple fighters stake their claim for a spot in the COLLISION 9 eight-man grand prix on June 13th, which will feature the vacant GLORY light heavyweight world championship. Cem Caceres (20-3, 14 KO), Mo Touchassie (20-3, 14 KO), Stefan Latescu (20-6, 10 KO), Mohammed Hamdi (22-4, 10 KO), Luis Tavares (65-11, 21 KO), and Albert Ugrincic (12-4, 5 KO) all emerged victorious in their respective bouts.

Deniz Demirkapu (17-5, 11 KO) continued to entertain with a stoppage victory against Mohamed Hamami (17-5, 8 KO).
