Davey Grant: A Godsend Coaching Role at Syndicate MMA

MMA news

In an interview, mixed martial artist Davey Grant (15-8) shared insights into his upcoming bantamweight bout against Adrian Luna Martinetti (17-1) at UFC Vegas 116 on April 25th. Beyond his own fight preparations, Grant also touched upon his recent defeat to Charles Jourdain, his relocation to Las Vegas, and his new capacity as a striking coach at Syndicate MMA.

Grant expressed his gratitude for the coaching opportunity, stating, “I’ve been doing that since the start of the year. I’ll still coach on the evening, then with the pro team I just want to train. I still got my own career. (Head Coach John Wood) has been so good about it. And to have him as a mentor, it’s been an absolute godsend.” This new role allows him to contribute to the gym while prioritizing his own fighting ambitions, with the support of Head Coach John Wood.
