AM GOLF will again serve as the official event management and scoring platform for the Vegas Baby Spring Shootout, taking place from March 29 to April 1. This event is a significant part of what's known as the "world's largest Pro-Am."
As a complementary event to the larger fall gathering (which attracts up to 600 golfers), the Spring Shootout unfolds during the popular March Madness season. Participants will compete across prestigious Las Vegas courses, including Paiute Golf Resort (featuring three Pete Dye designs), Spanish Trail (Robert Trent Jones, Jr.), and Reflection Bay (from the Nicklaus Design Team).
AM GOLF's technology successfully managed the 2025 Vegas Baby fall event and is set to power this year's edition from November 15-19 as well.
The AM GOLF platform streamlines complex event operations for the Vegas Baby staff, offering an easier way to manage tournaments while enhancing the player experience. Features like simplified registration, live scoring, real-time leaderboards, communication tools, and custom side games significantly reduce administrative workload without compromising flexibility.
A notable feature of AM GOLF is its integrated AI agent, which allows Vegas Baby to configure events for players using simple voice commands, thereby accelerating event setup and minimizing reliance on manual staff intervention.
Furthermore, golfers gain greater autonomy, able to organize and manage their own private games and side competitions independently. This reduces demands on golf shop staff, leading to fewer interruptions and a smoother experience both before and during the event for the Vegas Baby team.
Scott Kolb, PGA member and owner of Vegas Baby, highlighted the platform's ability to handle complex scoring. "The Vegas Baby Pro-Am features unique and challenging team net Stableford formats," Kolb stated. "Prior scoring systems struggled, requiring extensive manual adjustments. The AM GOLF team, however, quickly implemented the necessary formulas and tweaks." He added, "The scoring was incredibly reliable, setup was swift, and the social features kept players engaged all week – a level of execution we hadn't experienced before. It also consolidated our needs, eliminating the necessity for separate communication and scoring apps."
Kevin Carpenter, U.S. Managing Director of AM GOLF, emphasized the platform's user-centric design: "Operators seek tools that simplify event management. Vegas Baby perfectly showcases AM GOLF's distinct advantage – our ability to manage sophisticated tournament formats with speed and accuracy, all while fostering engaging social experiences that enhance player enjoyment and reduce staff workload."
Having gained significant popularity in Europe, AM GOLF launched in the U.S. this past January. The platform caters to golf associations, federations, tours, and governing bodies, providing an efficient, intuitive, and unified system for managing membership, official handicaps, and events. This integrated approach aims to cultivate active communities among members and partners, eliminating the need for multiple applications.
The all-encompassing AM GOLF app offers golfers a single point of access for managing official handicaps, booking tee times, registering for tournaments, communicating with peers, tracking skill development, and even buying/selling golf merchandise. This consolidated approach eliminates the need for numerous separate apps, centralizing all golf-related activities.
AM GOLF, a golf-focused technology company, offers two core products: a comprehensive, all-in-one app for golfers designed to enhance their entire playing experience, and robust golf management software for courses, clubs, resorts, and organizations to efficiently operate their businesses. With over 30,000 active users, 40,000 events, and 300,000 recorded rounds, AM GOLF is also the official supplier of the World Handicap System for 14 national golf associations.
