In a significant move for the golf and hospitality sector in 2026, Troon, a leading provider of golf and club management services, has finalized the acquisition of Bobby Jones Links, an Atlanta-based company specializing in club management. Established in 2000 with just two clubs, Bobby Jones Links has grown to manage 34 facilities spread across 13 states.

Following the acquisition, Bobby Jones Links will continue to operate under its established brand name. However, it will benefit from the extensive support and additional resources available as part of the broader Troon portfolio. The co-founders, Whitney Crouse and Steve Willy, will remain in their leadership positions as CEO and COO, respectively. Troon's integration promises to provide enhanced expertise, resources, and marketing capabilities, enabling Bobby Jones Links to better serve its existing clients and broaden its influence within the industry.

The Club Support Center for Bobby Jones Links will remain in Atlanta. Members and guests at facilities managed by Bobby Jones Links can expect the continuation of the same high standards of service, course maintenance, and dining experiences.

"Steve Willy and I are deeply passionate about this business and our company. For 26 years, we have focused on continuous improvement and building a talented team to better serve our clients and staff," stated Crouse. "We are incredibly excited about joining the Troon family. The combined strength of Bobby Jones Links, powered by Troon, will be a powerful force, allowing us to make an even greater positive impact on those we serve."

This acquisition not only expands Troon's presence in key markets but also incorporates valuable talent and resources, further strengthening Troon's ability to assist its existing clients in navigating the competitive landscape of golf and club operations.

"We are delighted to welcome Bobby Jones Links into the Troon family," commented Tim Schantz, President and CEO of Troon. "Whitney and Steve are exceptional leaders with significant standing in the industry. They have built an outstanding company that we have admired for years, supported by a remarkable team of professionals at both their corporate office and across their managed properties. Our commitment is to ensure the continued success and growth of the Bobby Jones Links brand."

Founded in 1990, Troon is recognized as the world's largest golf and golf-related hospitality management company, with operations in over 45 states and 40 countries.
