AS Roma has reportedly declined an initial €7.5 million offer from PSV Eindhoven for the permanent transfer of Anass Salah-Eddine.
The left-back was acquired from FC Twente for a substantial €8.5 million in February 2025, but his impact at the Stadio Olimpico was minimal.
Salah-Eddine Seeks Roma Opportunity
Following a brief stint in the Italian capital, Salah-Eddine was loaned out to PSV Eindhoven, with a reported purchase option of €8 million.
During his loan spell this season, Salah-Eddine made 25 appearances for PSV, contributing one assist. According to Il Messaggero, via Tuttomercatoweb, PSV submitted a €7.5 million bid to secure him permanently.
However, new sporting director Tony D’Amico deemed the offer insufficient.
It is understood that the 24-year-old is keen to stay at Roma and impress coach Gian Piero Gasperini, particularly given the Giallorossi’s qualification for the Champions League.
Salah-Eddine is a versatile player, capable of operating as a left-back, a more advanced left wing-back, or in central midfield.
The Moroccan international is currently representing his country at the 2026 World Cup.
