Coppola's Permanent Move to Paris FC Finalized for €20 Million from Brighton
Italy international defender Diego Coppola is set to complete a permanent transfer to Paris FC from Brighton & Hove Albion for a reported fee of €18 million, with an additional €2 million in potential bonuses. This move comes despite reported interest from Lazio.
Coppola had been linked with a potential return to Serie A with Lazio, but he appeared satisfied with his six-month loan spell in France.
Coppola Commits to Paris FC
Multiple sources, including Sportitalia and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, confirm that an agreement has been reached between all parties for a permanent transfer.
The total cost of the deal is expected to be around €18 million, with up to an additional €2 million in performance-related bonuses.
This represents a considerable profit for Brighton & Hove Albion, who acquired Coppola from Hellas Verona for €11 million in the summer of 2025. He made only nine appearances for the Seagulls, contributing two assists from defense.
Following his loan move in January 2026, the 22-year-old center-back played 14 matches for Paris FC. Coppola has earned two senior caps for Italy, both in June 2025.
