Italy's June Friendly Matches: Dates, Times, and Venues Confirmed
Italy is set to play two away friendly matches in June. They will travel to Luxembourg on June 3 and to Greece on June 7.
June 2026 Italy Matches: Official Times and Dates
The Italian Football Federation has announced the official schedule for Italy's upcoming June friendlies.
The Italian national team will compete against Luxembourg at the Stade de Luxembourg on June 3, with kickoff scheduled for 20:45 CET (19:45 GMT). Following this, they will face Greece at the Pankritio Stadium in Candia on June 7, also at 20:45 CET.
For these two matches, Italy will be managed by the U21 coach, Silvio Baldini. This interim arrangement is in place because a permanent head coach will only be appointed after the FIGC President election, which is slated for June 22.
The departures of Gennaro Gattuso and FIGC President Gabriele Gravina followed Italy's elimination from the World Cup play-off final against Bosnia and Herzegovina, marking the third consecutive World Cup exclusion for the national team.
The new permanent coach for the Azzurri is expected to make their debut in September 2026. The team will play their first Nations League match at home against Belgium on Friday, September 25. The subsequent fixture of the September international break will be an away game against Turkey on Monday, September 28.
