Leao Open to Saudi Arabia if European Move Fails, Amid Milan Exit Rumours
Rafael Leao's tenure at Milan appears to be in question, as the forward is reportedly considering an exit even while participating in the World Cup with Portugal.
According to Fabrizio Romano, via SOSFanta, significant developments have emerged, including the involvement of a new agency. Super-agent Jorge Mendes has now entered the discussions, a factor that could accelerate a potential transfer.
Europe is the priority, but Saudi Arabia is a fallback option for Leao
The Portuguese attacker is said to be focused on a transfer to a top European league, preferably the Premier League or La Liga. He is reportedly committed to pursuing this path, with a strong performance in the World Cup potentially increasing interest from European clubs.
However, if no European offers materialize, Romano suggests that Mendes would then investigate possibilities in Saudi Arabia for Leao, who has not entirely ruled out a move to Asia.
In Europe, Leao has been linked with clubs such as Barcelona and, more recently, Tottenham Hotspur, where he could reunite with Roberto De Zerbi and former teammate Sandro Tonali.
