Spalletti Confirms Juventus Contract Extension with Team Announcement
Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti has officially prolonged his tenure with the club, signing a new two-year contract that will keep him at the helm until 2028. The Serie A giants confirmed this significant development by releasing a video showcasing the moment Spalletti personally informed his players of the agreement.
In a heartfelt address to his squad, Spalletti emphasized the importance of them being the first to know. "I considered it most important, first of all, to tell you this fact, that we decided to extend this contract for another two years," he stated. "I want you to know first before it gets out. I’m telling you today. Naturally, we have challenges ahead of us, but I’m convinced that with you, those will be great challenges because I will face them with your attitude and your strength, as you’ve always done."
Spalletti took over the managerial role from Igor Tudor at the close of October, initially agreeing to a contract that would see him through the remainder of the season. Under his guidance, the Bianconeri have achieved a notable record, securing 17 victories, suffering six defeats, and drawing eight of their 31 matches played so far.
