Donyell Malen Becomes a Dragon Ball Z Hero in Roman Street Art

Sport news

Roma forward Donyell Malen has become the inspiration for a street artist in Rome, who has depicted him as a Dragon Ball Z character following his transfer from Aston Villa.

The center-forward has made a remarkable impact since joining the Giallorossi, netting 13 goals in just 16 appearances across Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the Europa League.

His consistent performance made his permanent transfer for €25 million, following a six-month loan spell, a certainty. His displays have now led to an intriguing tribute on the streets of Rome.

Artist Drugi, who has frequently used Roma players and coaches as subjects for his work, has now featured Malen, portraying him as a Dragon Ball Z character transforming into a Super Saiyan.

Drugi shared the creative process on his official Instagram page, featuring a video of the artwork being applied to the walls of the Italian capital.
