Moise Kean will not be part of the Fiorentina squad for their upcoming game against his former club, Juventus. Adding to their woes, Albert Gudmundsson is also dealing with fitness issues and is not fully ready to play.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Allianz Stadium in Turin on Sunday, kicking off at 11:00 AM UK time (12:00 PM CEST).
With their Serie A status secured, Fiorentina now has the chance to disrupt the plans of their long-standing rivals, Juventus, who are actively pursuing a spot in the Champions League.
Fiorentina Continues to be Without Kean
Kean had expressed a desire to be available for the game against his previous team, but unfortunately, the striker has once again been ruled out and will not be included in the squad. This marks the eighth consecutive match he will miss due to a persistent ankle problem that has troubled him throughout the season.
Concerns also linger over the fitness of Gudmundsson and Roberto Piccoli, who are not reported to be at 100 percent. In a strategic move, teenage talent Riccardo Braschi was omitted from the Primavera youth team squad to ensure his availability for the Juventus match. He made his senior debut last week in the goalless draw against Genoa.
