According to Italian sports publication La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus has presented a definitive contract offer to their prominent forward, Dusan Vlahovic. The proposal includes a one-year agreement with a base salary of €8 million, augmented by performance-related bonuses.
The Turin-based club has reportedly made one last attempt to secure the services of their key striker, Vlahovic, as detailed by Gazzetta.
Vlahovic’s current contract with Juventus is set to expire at the end of the month, making him available for a free transfer. However, he has not yet finalized an agreement with any other club.
Juventus recently appointed Giovanni Carnevali as their new CEO, succeeding Damien Comolli. The new executive has now put forth the club’s final offer to Vlahovic.
Earlier this month, the Serbian international turned down a €6 million per year offer from the previous administration. Nevertheless, the fact that no major European club has met his salary expectations has instilled confidence within Juventus that Vlahovic might extend his stay in Turin for at least another season.
The report indicates that Juventus has proposed a one-year contract, but they are also open to negotiating a two-year deal, with an annual salary of €8 million inclusive of add-ons.
