Lautaro Martinez’s agent has stated that even if Barcelona, Arsenal, or any other club were to make an offer, his response would remain consistent: “He is happy at Inter and does not want to move.”
The striker was a key figure in Inter Milan’s historic Double-winning season, securing both the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia, and celebrating with an open-top bus parade. He is also on track to be crowned Capocannoniere, solidifying his reputation as Italy’s top center-forward.
Despite significant interest from abroad, Martinez’s focus remains solely on Inter.
Lautaro Martinez’s Loyalty to Inter
“I have come to realize that Lautaro is admired and would be wanted by all the best teams in the world, but he belongs to Inter, so there is no reason for anyone to worry,” agent Alejandro Camano told FCInterNews.
“He is happy in Milan, he’s got the World Cup this summer, and then the objective next season is to win the Champions League with Inter.”
In the past, Barcelona was the only club that seemed to have a genuine chance of tempting Lautaro Martinez away from San Siro. With Robert Lewandowski departing and Barcelona in need of a new striker, speculation about a potential call from the Blaugrana has resurfaced.
“Any call I would receive, from any club in the world, I would listen with respect, but the response would be the same. Lautaro is happy at Inter, he said he doesn’t want to move, so there is nothing more to add.”
When asked if the Argentina international is staying to target the Champions League and potentially the Ballon d’Or, Camano clarified: “No, he is staying because he loves Inter. It’s not about personal success; those come only as a result of team trophies.”
Camano also represents Lazio defender Mario Gila, who has been linked with clubs including Inter and AC Milan. “He has one year left on his contract with Lazio, but nobody has called me over a renewal. I cannot renew his contract by myself. It all depends on them. If they want him to stay, good, otherwise we’ll have to talk about it.”
