Luciano Spalletti and the new Juventus CEO, Giovanni Carnevali, were recently seen enjoying a dinner at the well-known Il Fortino restaurant in Forte dei Marmi. They were joined by Adriano Galliani, Massimiliano Allegri, and Giovanni Rossi. This location has become a significant informal networking hub in Italian football.
The gathering was primarily social, filled with shared stories, laughter, and wine. However, as Tuttosport pointed out, discussions about football transfers are never entirely off the table at such high-profile meetings.
Forte dei Marmi is a traditional summer meeting spot for influential figures in the football world. Spalletti, Allegri, and Galliani have previously met there with other notable personalities, including Gianluca Zambrotta and former Genoa president Enrico Preziosi.
The presence of Giovanni Rossi at the dinner was particularly noteworthy. Rossi, a 60-year-old sporting director, departed Olympique Marseille in February and had previously worked under Carnevali at Sassuolo.
According to Tuttosport, Rossi might be considered for a role within Juventus’s new sporting organization. His attendance at this dinner with Carnevali and Spalletti has not gone unnoticed by those observing the sport’s dynamics.
Meanwhile, Allegri appeared relaxed in this company ahead of his expected confirmation as the new Napoli head coach. This new role will soon see him face his former club, Juventus, as a direct competitor in Serie A.
