Reports from Italy suggest that Roberto De Zerbi is receptive to discussing the managerial vacancy at Tottenham Hotspur, which arose following Igor Tudor’s recent departure. However, this potential appointment has already sparked significant opposition from certain sections of the Spurs fanbase.

De Zerbi and Tottenham: Latest Developments

Former Sassuolo and Brighton manager De Zerbi is reportedly prepared to engage in talks with Tottenham to step into the role left vacant by Igor Tudor. Tudor's tenure ended by mutual consent on Sunday, and the North London club has reportedly identified De Zerbi as their top candidate.

Tudor's brief spell at Tottenham saw him secure only one victory in seven matches, along with one draw and five losses. The club is currently struggling in the Premier League, sitting just a single point above the relegation zone.

According to transfer expert Di Marzio, De Zerbi is open to negotiations with Tottenham. The club has reportedly presented the Italian coach with a long-term vision, including plans for significant player acquisitions, contingent on their Premier League survival.
