De Zerbi ready for Tottenham if they avoid relegation
It is reported that Tottenham Hotspur has held talks with Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi regarding his appointment as head coach next season. This potential appointment depends on whether the 'Spurs' manage to remain in the Premier League. Meanwhile, the club's current manager, former Juventus boss Igor Tudor, may be sacked imminently.
This is not the first time the Italian specialist De Zerbi has been linked with the Tottenham job. However, he previously stated clearly that he would not accept a mid-season offer after departing Olympique Marseille.
According to recent reports, Tottenham's management has offered him to become the club's new coach from the start of next season, and De Zerbi has agreed, but only if the team retains its place in the top flight.
De Zerbi Considers Tottenham Hotspur Role

However, this condition is by no means a given, as the team's form has deteriorated to disastrous levels since the arrival of former Juventus coach Tudor.
Under the Croatian specialist, the team achieved only one, ultimately irrelevant, Champions League victory over Atletico Madrid (the team was still eliminated in the Round of 16), as well as one draw and five defeats.
Numerous sources suggest that Tudor will be dismissed during the international break, after a 3-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest left the team hovering just above the relegation zone.

Nevertheless, Tottenham is expected to wait a few days, as Tudor learned of his father's death on the same day as the defeat.
His former Serie A clubs, Juventus and Lazio, both extended public condolences.
Tudor managed Juventus from March to October 2025 and was sacked after failing to win any of his last eight official matches.
