Italy's Final Preparations for Bosnia World Cup Play-off
The Italian national team is making its final preparations for the crucial World Cup play-off Final against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The squad is set to train at Coverciano this morning before embarking on their journey to Bosnia for the decisive match, scheduled to take place at the Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica on Tuesday, March 31.
Revised Travel and Training Schedule
Slight adjustments have been made to the Azzurri's travel plans on the eve of the game. Due to anticipated challenging weather conditions in Bosnia, the team's flight has been rescheduled for later in the day. This revised timing allows Head Coach Gennaro Gattuso to have his players complete their final training session at their familiar Coverciano facility, rather than potentially dealing with a heavy pitch at the Bilino Polje Stadium.
Italy is therefore expected to conduct their training session on Monday morning. Afterward, a private flight will depart from Florence at 16:30 CET (15:30 BST), with the Nazionale anticipated to arrive in Zenica around 19:00 CET.
Upon their arrival at the match venue, Coach Gattuso and captain Gianluigi Donnarumma will participate in a pre-match press conference, offering insights into their strategy for the upcoming Final. The team will also conduct a pitch inspection to familiarize themselves with the playing surface ahead of the crucial encounter.
