Lazio Assistant Lauds Taylor's Impact, Offers Positive Gila Injury Update

Following Lazio's 2-0 triumph over Bologna, assistant manager Marco Ianni provided an update on Mario Gila's injury and commended Kenneth Taylor for his instinctive performance on the field.

This victory marked the Aquile's (Lazio's nickname) third consecutive win in Serie A, propelling them past Bologna into eighth position in the league standings.

Kenneth Taylor emerged as the match's standout performer, scoring both goals in the second half. This came after Edoardo Motta, in only his third Serie A appearance, successfully saved a penalty from Riccardo Orsolini.

Lazio Finds Consistency

With head coach Maurizio Sarri serving a touchline ban, assistant Marco Ianni led the team from the bench and addressed the media at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

The Lazio assistant manager confirmed, "Gila has been dealing with knee discomfort for some time, and we anticipated this possibility. He has been playing through pain for several weeks to help the team."

"He was determined to contribute, and we hope it's merely an inflammation, allowing him to return to action immediately after the international break."

Nevertheless, substitutions, notably Boulaye Dia and Tijjani Noslin, positively influenced the game.
