Lewandowski's Barcelona Future Uncertain Amid Interest from Juventus, Milan, and MLS
Barcelona is reportedly keen to retain Robert Lewandowski for another season and plans to offer the Poland international a new contract, despite strong interest from Juventus and AC Milan.
According to Sport.es, Barcelona is preparing to offer their star striker, Robert Lewandowski, a contract extension until 2027. The 37-year-old's current deal at Camp Nou is set to expire at the end of the season, and the Spanish publication confirms significant interest from Serie A giants Juventus and AC Milan.
Last week, Italian reports indicated that Juventus had dispatched a representative to observe the veteran striker during the recent international break with the Polish national team. While Juventus is currently negotiating a contract extension with Dusan Vlahovic, the Bianconeri are still expected to seek a new centre-forward for the upcoming season, irrespective of Vlahovic's long-term stay.
AC Milan acquired Niclas Füllkrug on loan from West Ham in January with an option for a permanent transfer. However, the Rossoneri remain undecided on activating this option and are anticipated to pursue a new primary striker for the 2026-27 season.
Sport.es also reports that Lewandowski himself is reportedly still contemplating his future at Barcelona and is taking time to evaluate his options. Both the striker and his representative maintain an excellent relationship with the Catalan club.
Beyond Juventus and Milan, Turkish clubs and MLS side Chicago Fire have also shown interest in Lewandowski. However, the Barcelona star reportedly has no desire to move to the Saudi Pro League.
