Milan Midfielder Jashari: ‘Allegri is a master, our goal is to qualify for the Champions League’
Ardon Jashari, who joined Milan from Club Brugge in January, discussed his adaptation to the club and expressed his admiration for coach Massimiliano Allegri, while also sharing his personal goals at San Siro.
The Swiss midfielder, gradually integrating into Allegri's squad since his winter transfer, spoke highly of the Milan head coach during an interview with Il Foglio.
"He is a true master to me, and I strive to learn everything I can from him," Jashari stated.
"He possesses vast experience and frequently offers me advice. He encourages me to push forward more, to play with greater intensity, and to take shots whenever the chance arises. He consistently motivates me to improve, even during training sessions."
Jashari: ‘I’m at Milan to win – for myself, the team and the fans’
Jashari also noted the significant evolution of his positional role in recent years, highlighting Allegri's guidance as particularly instrumental in his adaptation.
His aspirations at the club are clear and direct.
"My purpose here is to win – for myself, for the team, and for the fans," he declared. "I aim to give my absolute best every single day, with passion and professionalism. I hope to continue wearing this shirt for many years to come."
Regarding the team's immediate objectives, Jashari was equally explicit. Milan currently holds the second spot in Serie A, trailing Inter by six points with eight matches left, and the Swiss international understands the crucial minimum requirement.
"We need to approach each game individually; our main goal is to secure a return to the Champions League, joining Europe's elite clubs," he stated. "We recognize the need for hard work, but that doesn't intimidate us."
