AS Roma's winger, Wesley, has been prematurely excused from his international commitments with Brazil after sustaining an injury during a recent match against France, where he was in the starting lineup.
Brazilian national team coach Carlo Ancelotti had selected Wesley to feature in the starting eleven for the previous night's friendly encounter, which saw Brazil fall 2-1 to France. Wesley was substituted by Roger Ibanez in the 71st minute.
During the game, both Wesley and fellow squad member Raphinha reported experiencing discomfort in their right hamstring areas.
