Stefan De Vrij’s contract with Inter Milan is set to conclude on June 30th, and recent reports indicate that the Dutch international will not be extending his stay at the San Siro. De Vrij is among several key Inter players whose contracts are expiring soon, including Yann Sommer, Francesco Acerbi, and Matteo Darmian. Unlike these teammates, De Vrij, aged 34, was presented with an offer to continue with Inter but has taken his time to consider his future. According to updates from Calciomercato.com, all indications point towards De Vrij departing Inter as a free agent once his contract finishes at the end of this month. The former Lazio and Feyenoord defender has reportedly received an offer from Greek Super League club Panathinaikos, and Athens is rumored to be his preferred next destination. Reports from Friday suggest that Panathinaikos has offered De Vrij a two-year contract with an annual salary of €3 million.
