The 2026 World Cup is set to feature some of Serie A’s most prized assets, with Argentinian duo Lautaro Martínez and Nico Paz topping the valuation charts. Notably, Portuguese winger Rafael Leão falls outside the top three.
While Italy will be absent from the June 11th tournament, fans can still follow their favorite Serie A stars competing on the global stage. Football Italia has identified the ten most valuable players from Italy’s top flight participating in this year’s World Cup.
Leading the list is Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez, fresh off a Serie A title and the league’s top scorer for the 2025-26 season. A World Cup winner with Argentina four years prior, Martínez is valued at €85 million.
Joining Martínez in the Argentinian squad is 21-year-old Nico Paz, currently valued at €80 million. After a two-season spell at Como, Paz appears poised for a return to Real Madrid in the summer.
Securing the third spot is Juventus’s 21-year-old Turkish talent, Kenan Yıldız, with a valuation of €75 million according to Transfermarkt. Despite reported interest from Arsenal, Juventus is reportedly unwilling to consider offers for the promising attacker.
