Fiorentina is reportedly set to hold discussions with Sassuolo tomorrow regarding the transfer of midfielder Kristian Thorstvedt. The move could see the Norway international reunite with coach Fabio Grosso, despite reported interest from Besiktas.
Thorstvedt is currently participating in the World Cup with the Norwegian national team, preparing for their upcoming Round of 16 match against Brazil. He has performed well for Sassuolo under Grosso’s guidance.

According to reports from Sky Sport Italia and Tuttomercatoweb, a meeting is scheduled for Friday between the two clubs to finalize the transfer details. Fiorentina director Fabio Paratici has already reportedly discussed personal terms with Thorstvedt’s agent, and now the clubs need to reach an agreement.
Sassuolo has set an asking price of approximately €15 million for Thorstvedt. However, Fiorentina may be able to negotiate a lower fee by potentially including midfielder Simon Sohm in the deal. Sohm has returned to Florence after a loan spell at Bologna.
